Domestic Abuse Counselling Service 30 Nov 2016
The organisation will support victims of domestic abuse who are referred to the project from various local organisations. Service users will receive an individual assessment, which will determine the type of counselling support most appropriate, as well as identify any other specialist support that is required. This can include parenting, legal support, housing or benefits support. Individual counselling will be arranged with regular reviews to monitor progress and identify any further needs.
CoB Mentoring and Development 15 Feb 2017
This group will use the funding to provide weekly mentoring support sessions and workshops for disengaged young people living in deprivation. Participants will be offered support, skills and training to engage them into community life.
Perry Common Christmas on The Ring 11 Nov 2016
The project will use the funding to deliver a celebratory Christmas event to enable the local community to celebrate together. This will enable the organisation to provide an opportunity for improved community engagement with involvement from local community groups from the Polish, Greek and Chinese communities reflecting the evolving nature of the area.
The group will use the funding to develop a play area for children who are living with autism. This will improve beneficiariesâ€™ physical development.
Keeping Well with Sickle Cell Project 01 Feb 2017
A series of healthy workshops will be provided with this funding. The workshops will include training courses, nutrition learning and exercise techniques for people living with the effects of sickle cell and thalassaemia disorder. This will develop a better approach to improve the quality of health and wellbeing for participants.
Youth Making A Difference 28 Jul 2016
The group will use the funding to run 50 sessions of sports activities, providing a youth worker to oversee the project and training for volunteers. This will give beneficiaries better chances in life, reducing anti-social behaviour and increasing community cohesion in the area.
KEEPING THE ENERGY FLOWING AT COASTWATCH 25 Nov 2015
The organisation will use the funding to install solar panels and window shutters for their coast-watch tower, and radio equipment for an extra team of volunteer â€˜watchkeepersâ€™ to patrol the shoreline and surrounding area. This will improve the standards of safety for everyone visiting the area.

The organisation will use the funding towards purchasing a customer relationship management system. This will help improve the organisation's services to voluntary organisations and service users, enhance the information provided through their website, provide a searchable database of volunteering opportunities and directory of organisations, and enable members of the community to access tailored support services, training and activities to improve their circumstances and wellbeing.

The group will use the funding to create a therapeutic garden space in their refuge, which is aimed at South Asian women and children affected by domestic violence. This will develop the facilities of the organisation, improving beneficiariesâ€™ wellbeing, confidence and social inclusion.

The group will use the funding to install play equipment at a school which is currently lacking in play facilities that can be accessed at break times. This will engage children in positive social activities and create a stronger school community.

The group will use the funding to create a sensory garden that will support the needs of survivors of domestic abuse. This will provide a safe space where beneficiaries can regain their physical and emotional health and wellbeing.
WGI Stage 2 22 Mar 2016
Specialist refuge accommodation and support in the community for young women aged 16 to 25 affected by all issues of violence against women and girls including forced marriage, honour based violence or female genital mutilation, rape or sexual abuse. Each will be supported individually to build their confidence and have the strength to take ownership and responsibility of their lives. Further support will include a helpline, drop-in sessions and outreach work.

The organisation will use the funding to pay for an events day and open week that will bring the whole community together to celebrate significant expansion over the last 25 years, share skills and knowledge and improve community cohesion.

This school will use the funding to create an allotment site and reflection garden, run gardening workshops and provide healthy eating sessions for parents and children. Their knowledge of food and nutrition will be improved, leading to better physical health and wellbeing.
This project is a programme of live performances, music workshops and a walking tour. This will celebrate the areaâ€™s musical history and showcase school performances and community projects.

This group will use the funding to provide IT and internet skills training for vulnerable parents. Participantsâ€™ technology skills will be improved, making them more confident in using computers to seek employment and access local services.
