National Youth Advocacy Service provides advocacy & volunteer independent visiting for children & young people in care in Cheshire. This project aims to improve the physical and emotional well-being of vulnerable children and young people. The grant will be used to fund positive activities for isolated children in care, to improve their confidence, well-being, resilience, skills and placement stability of the children and young people taking part.

This disability group in Bebington, Wirral, will use funding to install an automated push button door in its premises and deliver disability awareness training to public and private sector organisations. This will enable people to better understand issues faced by people with disabilities and address legislation affecting disabled people.

The group will use the funding to run a people's festival with the aim of building links and identifying shared issues of concern in the local area. This will strengthen the community by building capacity for engagement, bringing people together and allowing them to work with each other.
