Volunteering Sundays 28 Nov 2005
This organisation will take a team of 50 volunteers out on one Sunday each month to carry out community work. There will be four groups - environmental, DIY, Sunday roast and Mobile Skate Park. The project will provide volunteers with access to new activities, training and skill development and the beneficiaries of the work have been identified through a similar project that was organised throughout Merseyside to support those most in need e.g homeless and disabled people.
The Moby 23 Mar 2007
The organisation will use an award to open a mobile youth project based on a double decker bus. The bus will contain various activities and equipment which will be offered as an alternative to taking part in anti-social activities. The bus will take the services to areas where young people congregate.
Carmarthenshire People First 31 Jan 2008
The project is to support people who have learning disabilities to have paid work, work experience placements or voluntary work in Carmarthen. The project will provide increased opportunity for people with learning disabilities to develop their skills, gain confidence and self esteem and dispel some of the myths about the ability of individuals who have learning disabilities. It will also provide alternative opportunities from the day centres for meaningful activities during the day.

The project is to develop and publicise the facilities of the group. The money is for translation and advertising costs, printing costs and purchase of books,film and software.

This community organisation will use an award to renovate and decorate their premises. The group will create an office space with a mezzanine floor with "hot desks" which will allow a wide variety of groups to use the facilities at any time.
Family Advocacy Service 26 Jan 2011
The project will support parents with learning disabilities who may be facing isolation, childcare difficulties or family crisis. It will do this through the creation of an independent Family Advocate post and support groups.

The project will support people with learning diabilities to have paid work and voluntary opportunities, and provide access to health related information. It will offer a time bank for both disabled and non-disabled people to assit people with learning disabilities. The credits gained can be traded in for training opportunities.

The organisation will use the funding to purchase tools and equipment and develop a community workshop with metalwork, woodwork, DIY and leatherwork areas. This will encourage intergenerational working, enable older residents to pass down traditional skills, and undertake projects to help improve the local community, helping to reduce their isolation.

The company will replace the van which enables many of their community and prison-based activities to take place. The work this will support aims to develop skills and to bring people together to design items which are used in the local community.

This project will set up a resource centre in Ellesmere Port that will offer drop-in information and advice on careers and employment opportunities to provide the first-stage in assisting disabled people to return to work. The project will also provide an individual programme of support including personal development training, work experience and identify next steps.
