Grant to Toonspeak Young People's Theatre 13 Jun 2013
towards three years' salary of the Creative Learning Director at a theatre project for disadvantaged and excluded young people in Glasgow
This group will organise an informal event for friends and families of missing people from across Scotland. The event will be held in Edinburgh in December 2017, and people from across Scotland will be invited to attend and meet other people in similar circumstances and share their experiences.
This project will provide the opportunity for people with learning difficulties, people with mental health concerns and young people at risk of exclusion to develop new practical and social skills, meet new people and raise their self confidence. The project will establish a number of community gardens reclaimed from waste or derelict ground.
Youth Advisory Service 11 Aug 2006
This project will develop additional support for young people living with Huntington's Disease in their immediate family. The project will provide several services for young people including emotional support and counselling, advice and information resources, regionally based group work, and a young people's conference. The grant will fund salary costs and a conference for young people.
Younger Person's Project 13 Oct 2006
Dunfermline Advocacy Initiative's "Young Persons Programme" will match young people with and without disabilities in Citizen Advocacy partnerships. Citizen Advocacy matches vulnerable people in society with resourceful and responsible local people. This project will help local young people with disabilities access the networks and support mechanisms that a young person without disability might be expected to access.
Promoting Community Involvement. 13 Apr 2007
The four year project will deliver a programme of activities and events that will promote the inclusion of young people with learning disabilities in activities. The project will enable young people to become active citizens by, undertaking self advocacy and information sharing activities and by representing young people with disabilities on mainstream youth forums. Young people will also organise a national conference.The grant will fund staff costs.
CAST 'The Future' 13 Oct 2006
This project will benefit 340 young people by upgrading a drop in Internet café run by young people for young people. This facility will provide a venue where a wide range of services and activities can be delivered that will widen youth participation, provide exciting volunteering opportunities and help young people increase their self esteem and confidence. This grant will be used to pay for the salaries of 2 youth workers and upgrading and equipping the youth cafe.
Provide new chairs for our day centre giving older people friendship and company of others in a safe and happy environment.
The group will deliver educational workshops to young people on the issue of human trafficking and how the choices they make in their own lives can have a positive impact on the illegal trade.

The association will use the funding to enhance a number of classes they provide, this will benefit a large section of the local community ranging from disabled people and older people to young people.
