Labour For Change (LFC) 25 Jan 2017
The group will further develop an employment pilot that was delivered in 2014-15 by The Jericho Foundation. The project will be open to anyone over 16 years of age living in Birmingham or surrounding areas who self-identify, or is referred as, a survivor of modern slavery or those at risk. The project aims to offer a range of support to help people re-enter safe work, which is a key component of both rehabilitation and protection from re-trafficking.
From ground to plate 08 Feb 2017
This school will use the funding to create an allotment site and reflection garden, run gardening workshops and provide healthy eating sessions for parents and children. Their knowledge of food and nutrition will be improved, leading to better physical health and wellbeing.
IT training for vulnerable families 22 Feb 2017
This group will use the funding to provide IT and internet skills training for vulnerable parents. Participantsâ€™ technology skills will be improved, making them more confident in using computers to seek employment and access local services.
CoB Mentoring and Development 15 Feb 2017
This group will use the funding to provide weekly mentoring support sessions and workshops for disengaged young people living in deprivation. Participants will be offered support, skills and training to engage them into community life.
This school will use the funding to rebuild an adventure trail, which will include stepping stones, a balance beam and a scramble net. This will allow children to partake in extra-curricular physical activity which will improve their health and fitness levels.
Communication and Language Outdoor Project 01 Feb 2017
This school will use the funding to improve their play equipment at the school. The new kit will influence children to take part in exercise leading to healthier lifestyles, as well as encourage them to socialise and communicate with each other during times of play.
First Aid Training and Community Awareness 22 Feb 2017
This charity will use the funding to provide training and equipment for an inland search and rescue unit. The group will be able to provide potential lifesaving care for the community.
Accessible Path For All. 22 Feb 2017
A wheelchair accessible pathway will be built, so that pupils living with mobility issues can access outdoor activities and other areas of the school.
Take a Break Sitting Service 01 Feb 2017
The funding will be used to run a sitting service for people with dementia and their carers. This is aimed at providing respite, reducing pressures and giving people better chances in life.
Square Peg Foundation Stay and Play 18 Jan 2017
This group will use the funding to provide sensory stay and play summer holiday sessions for children living with disabilities and their siblings. The children will be able to learn in a safe environment, improving their communication and social skills.
Midland Freewheelers - Outdoor Clothing 15 Feb 2017
This group will use the funding to purchase warm reflective clothing for volunteers and riders who provide an out of hours delivery service, supporting the NHS. The new clothing will ensure fundamental participation in the community carries on.
Jamaican Togetherness 15 Feb 2017
This community organisation will use the funding to provide workshops, cultural events and support services to a minority group. Participants will be provided with advice and support, allowing them to work together to tackle their issues.
Reconnected Enterprise Hub 22 Mar 2017
IT support sessions will be delivered to people who are experiencing the effects of being homeless. This will equip them with new skills and create pathways to employment.
Installation of Outdoor Gym 01 Mar 2017
This school will use the funding to install an outdoor gym, where pupils will be able to take part in activities which benefit their fitness and wellbeing. The gym will also discourage antisocial behaviour during break times.
A community celebration day will be held with this funding, allowing local people to take part in activities which encourage community cohesion.
ShardFest 22 Feb 2017
The funding will be used by this group to hire security, fencing and staging in order to run a community festival. This will bring together a wide range of people from the community, leading to improved community relations.

The funding will be used to provide a holiday scheme for young people to take part in social activities, where they will befriend other young people who are experiencing the effects of bullying. This will promote confidence building, increase self-esteem and give young people the skills they need to engage in their community.
