The project will refurbish the outside of their community venue and repair severe damage to the stonework, gutters and fascias. This will improve safety and enable community groups and local people to continue to enjoy the activities and amenities of the venue.
Creating Cohesive Communities through Art 08 Mar 2017
The funding will be used to run art workshops for three local groups of isolated young people, engaging them in creating three pieces of public art to be displayed in community spaces. The project aims to provide positive activities for young people at risk of anti-social behaviour to take part in, promoting them in a positive light, breaking down barriers and challenging negative stereotyping of young people in the community.

The school will build a multi-sensory play setting to improve their outdoor natural environment. This will provide a safe play space for local children to improve their health, social skills and fitness.

The project will run a series of social activities for people of all ages from the community. They will provide volunteering opportunities, raise awareness of dementia, explore opportunities for cross generational learning and sharing, and reduce the isolation of older people.
Digital LifeBooks for people with dementia 18 Jan 2017
The project will deliver a pilot course for older people with early onset dementia from Northumberland. They will help participants develop IT skills and provide them with reminiscence activities so they can create multimedia journals of their life stories involving music, scrapbook, photos and creative writing. This will offer a peer support network, help reduce social isolation and improve wellbeing.
People who ordinarily would not be able to get out and about would benefit from outings in specially adapted transport.
We provide financial help and equipment for the care of cancer sufferers and, those with other life-threatening illnesses.
Our beautiful Peace Garden is a quiet place to spend time with friends - help more children enjoy this special area with new benches.
