Lazers Fives 10 Apr 2012
This group will establish a five-a-side youth football league for young people living in and around Dalmellington. The project will bring together different teams, in Ayr, to play against each other one evening in every month. The grant will fund pitch hire, strips and transport.
This group will organise two canoeing expeditions as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award. The grant will be used to pay for two canoe training days, an SCA Safety & Rescue Course, mini bus hire, petrol, a Loch Lomond expedition, a Loch Awe expedition and an expedition assessor.
Queen's Diamond Jubilee Celebrations 10 Apr 2012
This group will host a day of celebrations for the village of Glenmavis, on 3 June 2012, to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The group will run a variety of activities for all the people living in Glenmavis. The grant will fund a trailer for a stage, a merry-go-round, a bouncy castle, jubilee bunting, flags, hats, a magician, catering (barbeque, tea, sandwiches and cakes) and special tea for senior citizens.
River Glazert Monitoring Project 10 Apr 2012
The club will establish a biological monitoring programme. Participants will acquire the necessary skills to sample and assess the water quality of the local river, identify changes and informing the local community. This grant will fund a 1-day training course for 12 club members, 6 sets of sampling equipment, room hire, 6 life jackets, a laptop computer with software, waders and website setup costs.
Camping with West Guides & Seniors 10 Apr 2012
The division will purchase a range of camping equipment which will allow a number of local guide groups to attend various camps. The grant will fund tables, benches, kitchen storage, a dining shelter, a kitchen tent, gas rings, double burners, an oven, rechargeable lights, gas heaters, kitchen utensils and resin crockery.
Training Centre Upgrade 10 Apr 2012
The unit will purchase equipment and furniture for its new training facility at the Great Harbour in Greenock. This grant will fund 2 laptops, 2 50 inch TVs, 2 wipe boards, 12 bunk beds and 24 mattresses.
New School Mini Bus 10 Apr 2012
The school will purchase a new minibus which will be used to transport pupils to a range of extra curricular activities. This grant will be used to buy a 17 seater mini bus.
South Africa Girls Exchange Health & Wellbeing 10 Apr 2012
This group will undertake a programme of activities along with a group of visiting young people from South Africa. The grant will fund activity provider costs, accommodation costs, transport costs and entry fees.
Digging for Drummore 10 Apr 2012
The group will develop a gardening area as well as an outdoor classroom in the grounds of the Drummore Primary School. The grant will fund raised beds, outdoor classroom, tree seats, water butts, garden table, garden tool, and outdoor clothing costs.
The school based in Johnstone will purchase a Cyber Coach system which will increase physical activity levels of pupils and members of the local community. This grant will fund Cyber Coach system, a projector, a PA system, a trolley and a dance mat.
The network will organise and hold a one-day conference in Glasgow on the subject of orthotics. The aim of the conference is to improve orthotics services for polio survivors and other service users. The grant will fund conference venue hire, fees for guest speakers, expenses for guest speakers, publicity, advertising, audio-visual equipment hire, printing costs, postage costs and room hire for project planning.
The centre will hold an event featuring music, food and dance to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee. This grant will be used to pay for 150 chairs, a finger buffet for 200 people, a laptop, a projector, a screen, toilet hire, performers travel costs, performers accommodation costs, drinking water and a performers award.
The forum provides support and advice to local people who are affected by care issues. The grant will allow the group to train eight volunteers to deliver a community media project. The grant will pay for sessional training costs, volunteer expenses, costs to develop project materials, graphic design costs, printing costs and production costs.

The trust will plant trees and bushes in open areas, school grounds and parks in order to improve the local environment. The project will also deliver a range of community events and training activities. The grant will fund six training days, rootstocks, trees, bushes, tree guards, fencing, fertilizer, a fruit crusher with a press, tools, teaching resources, events, publicity and a sessional worker.

This will enable the group to work towards providing a fit for purpose service, able to deal with the changing needs of the local community in the current climate. Outdoor sensory play area 10 Apr 2012
The nursery based in the Gorbals will use the grant to install outdoor play equipment. The grant will fund a physical playboat, a rock climbing wall, a sensory wall, planters, a plant screen, a workshed, a bark area, a mini bridge with a mirror, a magnifying glass, a wooden petrol pump, a story throne with stools, four totem poles and a finger maze.
Swinton Primary Grounds Improvement 10 Apr 2012
The school will improve their grounds by installing a new seating area, an activity trail and fixed magnascopes. They will also develop their courtyard. This grant will fund an activity trail, a play boat, two sets of mushroom seating, courtyard improvements and three fixed magnascopes.

This group will improve the facilities within their community kitchen enabling them to introduce cheap, healthy cooking options to the local community. This grant will fund painting/decorating, an auto fill boiler, a burner range cooker with fryer, stools, chairs, tables, a commercial microwave, a wet floor sign, a notice board, cleaning of ventilation ducts, cutlery, plates, utensils, a belt toaster, electric griddles, fridges, a freezer and compost.
Tore Primary School Playground Refurbishment 10 Apr 2012
The school will install playground equipment in the school grounds. The grant will fund a climbing stack, parallel bars, stepping logs, a jigsaw traverse wall, a crawl tunnel, safagrass mats, a tech mesh, health and safety provision, and the removal of existing equipment/topsoil/turf.

The trust will organise a cultural event as part of the Doors Open Day Ayrshire in September 2012. The event will take place in Holmston House where artists and local craft groups will hold workshops. The project will also involve the creation of new art works. During the day a storyteller will also narrate the history of the poorhouse. This grant will be used to pay for artists' fees, storyteller's fees and promotional materials.
