Seeing Scotland's Fishing Heritage 26 Mar 2018
This grant will fund a series of recreational trips for elderly members of the Kilsyth community reducing social isolation and improving health and wellbeing.
This group will use the funding to continue delivery of their "Older People's Active Lives" project allowing older, lonely and isolated people in the wider Cumbernauld area to continue living in their own homes and providing a comprehensive range of activities to reduce isolation and promote heath. Activities will include arts and crafts, reminiscence workshops, recreational activities complemented by men’s sheds, monthly tea dances and scheduled trips and outings.

This group provide one-to-one counselling relating to mental health issues and this funding will allow them to refurbish their kitchen area to allow a more comfortable environment for people to enjoy an informal chat.

This group provides information, advice and representation to members of the Cumbernauld & Kilsyth community. The project will deliver a community engagement process, develop a business plan and provide a service re-design alongside producing a volunteer training programme.

The project will provide a range of outdoor community events and activities to take place within the green space in Abronhill, Cumbernauld. This includes environmental activities, information sessions, arts and crafts, and outdoor recreational activities.

The group will provide a range of specialist support for 85 children aged up to 14 years of age born with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus throughout Lothian, Borders, Fife, and Tayside. They will be able to expand this work throughout Tayside and support families, including siblings.

This group provide recreational fitness activities for local older people. The funding will enable the group to attend a monthly ceilidh in a neighbouring town and provide some social outings.
Pathways to Progress 27 Feb 2018
This organisation support people who have experienced or been affected by Childhood Sexual Abuse. This grant will fund the client support team who will work with people when they first contact the service. Through a person centred approach this team will work with survivors of childhood sexual abuse to develop a personal plan to help them improve their resilience, confidence and self-esteem.
This group will use the funding to for their childcare service which supports children aged between four and 16 years of age.

This grant will fund redesign and development of Cornerstone’s website, social media and digital communication channels including improved digital marketing.
The Transforming Lives Programme 27 Feb 2018
This organisation will use the funding to run two specific services towards a better quality of life for marginalised people living in North Lanarkshire. The first will continue to deliver health and wellbeing activities in areas of multiple deprivation within the region. The second strand will be a ‘Transforming Lives’ a Volunteer Support Programme which will provide a range of volunteering and training opportunities for individuals who are socially isolated.
