£15,000 towards the Lifeline Project supporting destitute asylum seekers. Positive Action in Housing provides support for refugees and migrants through casework and advice. Its Lifeline service provides a one-stop service for destitute individuals including advice, casework, legal support and emergency support including community hosting and emergency grants.
A grant to Venture Scotland 23 Jan 2018
£10,000 towards the Pathfinder project, a partnership programme with Police Scotland for 40 young people. Venture Scotland seeks to provide disadvantaged young people develop their skills and strengths in order to turn their lives around and contribute to their local community. The Pathfinder Project will target young people (16-30 years old) at risk of offending for a specialist programme of outdoor activities.
