The group will use the funding to provide activities and workshops to isolated disadvantaged beneficiaries to build confidence and self esteem through working together to increase their skills. This will provide beneficiaries with the opportunity to reduce isolation and broaden their experiences.

The group will use the funding to provide new central heating and fire alarm systems for its community hall that serves a wide range of local groups and organisations as its current equipment is dilapidated and irreparable. This will improve this community facility and ensure beneficiaries' safe and continued use.
The group will use the funding to undertake a feasibility and consultation study to review and address the community need for activities in the area. This will build capacity for community engagement and enable residents to contribute to local citizenship.

The group will use the funding to install play equipment within the school grounds for children including those with complex needs. This will enable beneficiaries to access a safe and improved environment contributing towards their development.
The group will use the funding to stage a multigenerational community event reflecting on and celebrating the contribution of veterans in WW1 from BME communities. This will include several guest speakers; raising awareness of their collective heritage.

Supporting Troubled families Project 04 May 2016
The group will use the funding to provide support to disadvantaged families including refugees who have just arrived in the area. This will enable them to receive practical assistance and advice about accessing legal and social support services.
The project will produce a film made by homeless people and those in vulnerable housing to raise awareness of the issues, stigma and stereotyping they experience. The project will help participants develop film making skills and improve their health, wellbeing, confidence and aspirations.

The group will use the funding to provide support workshops for bereaved dads and boys. This will help them cope with the effects of bereavement and other grief related difficulties.
