A restricted grant of £250,000 over 2 years (£125,000; £125,000) towards the costs of four Justice First Fellows (based at Merseyside Law Centre, Plymouth Citizens Advice, Central England Law Centre and Disability Law Service) and associated costs of the support and development programme. The Justice First Fellowship programme supports new lawyers to train in specialist social justice organisations through a fully funded 2 year training contract and associated support through the network.
A restricted grant of £20,000 towards the Bingham Centre's Rule of Law Monitoring Project. This project intends to provide independent monitoring and scrutiny of new bills and legislation against internationally agreed Rule of Law standards.
