Selsey Community Forum aims to enable residents to work together to discern local needs and find solutions to them. Funding was provided to pay the hire costs for a local facility one afternoon a week. This will provide a safe, pleasant space for social interaction in Selsey.

The Summer Madness is an established event led by a group of community driven individuals eager to celebrate and support the community under the values of equality, respect and sportsmanship. Funding was provided to support the development of a Whithawk's Got Talent event.

Environment due east sub group organise their Whitehawk festival each year for local residents. Funding was provided for new marquees, tables, chairs and hire of equipment for the day.

Fernee forest club sessions link to the seasons and gently encourage learning about nature through having fun, inspiring curiosity and practical activities. Funding was provided to support after school forest club sessions for families in Bevendean.
Amaze provides information, advice and support to families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The Sunflower Group is part of the AMAZE organisation and run monthly coffee mornings to serve the local community of Moulsecoomb and Whitehawk. Funding was provided for a summer outing for parent carers and their families.

BHFP helps people improve health, wellbeing and skills through food activities. Funding was provided to support three events for the local community at Saunders Park Edible Garden.
Speak Out East 12 Oct 2017
Brighton & Hove Speak Out supports adults with learning disabilities to speak up and be heard about the things that matter to them. Funding was provided to support activities and workshops at the Drop-In from Christmas through to Summer 2018.
The East Brighton Bygones Local History Society aim to foster a wider interest in the local history of Brighton and Hove. Funding was provided to support the costs of running the group, including speakers and trips out.
Grant to Rye Wurlitzer Academy 21 Mar 2018
The Rye Wurlitzer Academy was formed to teach theatre organ techniques to students at Rye College on the Rye Wurlitzer theatre organ. Funding was provided towards the fees and travel costs of the Principal Tutor, Internationally acclaimed theatre organist Michael Wooldridge.
Strike a Light is a not-for-profit community arts and heritage organisation using people’s life stories and memories to engage a wide range of groups in creative and heritage activities, and making art to transform public and private spaces. Funding was provided towards a series of open access community focused life history activities aimed at encouraging local residents, and specifically older participants to engage with their memories and lives to create memory books celebrating the sharing of local memories.

We are an online community newspaper, run by volunteers, and we publish each week news, information and opinions on issues that interest and concern the community of Rye and District. Funding was provided to enable them to purchase new visual display materials as well as modern visual and audio recording equipment, specifically an SLR camera and a digital recorder.

Grant to Kemp Town Gardening and Community Group 22 Feb 2018
Kemptown Gardening and Community Group undertake a number of social and fund-raising activities for their community. Funding was provided to support the costs of hanging baskets.
We provide, via a group of village volunteers, a range of services to the community within the Northiam village envelope. Our mission is to help those people in our catchment area, with one-off services, providing a wide range of small (non-trades jobs) which they cannot do for themselves. Funding was provided towards insurance and volunteer costs.

Eastbourne Volunteers aim to promote volunteering and reduce social isolation in Eastbourne. They have an information hub in the town centre, publish a monthly community newspaper, and have a weekly column in the Eastbourne Herald. Funding was provided towards getting their project off the ground in it's first year.
