Grant to Grow Project 16 Mar 2018

The Grow Project works with adults with mental health issues in the greater Brighton & Hove area. Funding was provided to enable the group to run 2 x 8 week courses called 'The Season'. Groups of 12 participants will travel from central Brighton to the National Trust’s Saddlecombe Farm or other locations in the South Downs and carry out a wide range of activities to suit mood, energy level, physical ability and interest.

Ringmer Disability Social Club is an independent social club for men and women aged 20yrs and above in the Ringmer and the Lewes District area. They are a self help club for people with disabilities their family and friends. Funding was provided for transport costs.

PhoenixSnakShak provide a safe, warm place for teenagers to meet with their friends with outreach youth support. Snak Shak aims to support young people who wouldn't otherwise choose to attend organised clubs or uniformed organisations, yet feel comfortable at Snak Shak. The aim of the Ouse Valley Cycle Network is to create a safe shared route from Newhaven to Lewes along the River Ouse. The first section was opened in 2013 and the route is now half complete.
