The young women’s group is an open session aimed at issues facing young women in the Sale Moor area. Offering a safe environment where young women can gain advice on sexual health, relationships, issues with family or schooling, CVs / homework. Whilst raising aspirations, self-esteem and confidence.
Childrens Christmas Party 03 Dec 2014
A childrens christmas party at stretford library for children aged between 4 & 8years. This will be a local community event. Parents and families being able to interact and socialise with each other, bringing together the diverse community. The event will be held in a safe enviroment and managed by CRB checked council staff.
Altrincham French Festival 05 Dec 2014
Building on the success of the 2014 Altrincham French Festival , its proposed to organise a 2 day French cultural event for families in July 2015. The event will be a celebration of French culture and food involving the local community including schools, community organisations and local businesses.
Exercise is fun 05 Dec 2014
This grant will allow us to provide an hour long, weekly, fun bootcamp - style excersize class in the park for our children. It will also allow us to provide 30 weeks of an hour long community rounders session - all free of charge for all.
Greater outdoors 05 Dec 2014
Greater Outdoors' will take place at our Headquarters in Gorse Hill and will involve a complete regeneration of our outdoor space to include lawn, seating area, raised beds and fence. The concept will mean a better use of an already thriving building used by the Scouts, Trafford Children’s Centres, a local pre school and members of the community on an ad hoc basis.
Security Improvements 05 Dec 2014
We Want Hartford community centre to be a safe and secure place for everyone. Security improvemnets will ensure all users of the centre feel safe whilst using the building. We want to discourage vandalism to the building and the distruptive behaviour, to ensure tht everyone who comes to a class at the centre will enjoy their visit without fear of disruption.
