Longford Community Choir 25 Mar 2019
We meet every Friday night to rehearse songs to perform at various events. We use Firswood Community Centre as it is convenient and safe for our choir members and there isn't much going on in this part of Stretford. We need ink to enable us to photocopy words so that our choir members can sing.
Summer Food Programme (working title) 16 Jun 2015
The project will provide a nutritious meal for children from Sale West for nine days over the month of August, alongside a meal we will provide the children with activities to do, a mix of craft, drama and music.
ASTRO Project 09 Mar 2017
Our ASTRO project aims to educate junior school aged children through the use of smart phone enabled virtual reality headsets whereby the chiuldren can observe the solar system in an exciting way and download outer-space images.

a holiday hunger food provision for up to 20 children per day over a two week period. We aim to provide lunch for children who would usually qualify for a free school meal and may be going hungry in the holidays when families finances are stretched.

Sign Language Course 04 Jan 2019
The funding will go towards paying for a BSL tutor , Gary Taylor, to teach sign language to a group of people who have varying degree of hearing loss. This will enable them to communicate better within social groups and within their family environment.
Moving Maths 14 Jul 2017
Spiltmilk Dance is a professional dance company delivering projects in schools and community settings, and creating and touring performance work nationally. This project will explore a dance and movement-based approach to teaching maths to children aged 4-7 in three Rotherham Primary Schools.

Danceworks Altrincham wish to continue to promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing dance-related fitness activities for all age groups. In this instance, we propose to continue to commit to providing an intergenerational group fitness activity. For us to provide this we would need additional financial support.
