This group will use the funding to purchase musical instruments and bring in a sessional music worker to deliver a music and movement project for their preschool children.
This group will use the funding for a family poetry project to encourage parents and children to enjoy poetry together and develop language and literacy skills.
The Fabulous Fifties 20 May 2015
The organisation will use the funding to set up a 1950s style cafe on Thame High Street for two afternoons a week. This will enable adults with special needs to get work experience in order to enter the workplace and gain independence.
This funding will be used to build the groupâ€™s capacity for its walking club activities, helping to expand the organisation.
Music from the 50s and 60s 26 Oct 2016
This project will purchase sheet music from the 50s and 60s eras so they can deliver concerts for people with young-onset dementia. This will provide nostalgic music and singing and dancing activities to help improve their mental and physical wellbeing.
SELF Awareness in the community 05 Aug 2015
The organisation will use the funding to build capacity by training staff to deliver applied suicide intervention skills training to people within the local community. This will support those who are at risk of suicide and provide educational awareness training and reduce the stigma linked to suicide.
Defibrillator 27 Jan 2016
This organisation will use the funding to purchase a defibrillator for the community cricket club. This will provide medical equipment which will be used to support the health and well being of people within the local community who use the cricket ground for activities, specifically older residents within this rurally isolated community.
