This group aim to support recreation and sport in the catchment area of Lochdar School. The group will use the funding to organise a week long volunteer work camp to carry out tasks that will improve local environments around the island.
Grow Up to Inspire 23 Aug 2016
Project Summary : Association of Voluntary Organisations Wrexham (AVOW) will use the grant to hold an awards ceremony to celebrate young people who volunteer. This grant for Â£1,880 will part-fund catering, decorations, awards, travel expenses for volunteers, translation costs and commemorative programmes.
Forest Confidence 08 May 2016
Forest School Swansea and Neath and Port Talbot will use the grant to run sessions for children who have been exposed to domestic abuse to rebuild confidence and self-esteem. This grant for Â£4,890 will fund session staff costs, volunteer expenses, travel, volunteer training, equipment, Welsh translation, publicity and refreshments.
W.I.S.E (Wellbeing, Interaction, Stimulation and Education)
The group will use the funding to establish a neighbourhood plan for the village of Wellington Heath. This will enable local people to improve facilities and services in the community.

Narberth CP School in Pembrokeshire will use the grant to run fun community focused family sessions during school holidays. This grant for Â£4,850 will fund sessional staff costs, activity materials, waterproofs and wellington boots, mini bus hire, marketing and play equipment.

The group will use the funding to deliver IT workshops to older people within a housing estate. This will enable the residents to learn new skills, improve confidence and learn about online IT safely and securely.
Enhancing the lives of individuals with dementia 17 Apr 2016
Crossroads in The Vale (EMI) Ltd will use the grant to introduce people who have dementia to tablet computers to promote social inclusion. This grant for Â£4,882 will fund three tablet computers with apps, two training sessions and sessional workers.
The group will use the funding run a series of dance workshops culminating in a community performance aimed at physically disabled and non-disabled young people. This will boost the confidence, skills and wellbeing of beneficiaries, improving social inclusion.
Cultural and Social trips 29 Nov 2016
Hafan Brynheulog Residents Association in Pontardawe will use the grant to provide activities for their members and take them on a series of trips to places of interest, to help prevent social isolation. This grant for Â£3,795 will fund meals and transport costs.
The organisation based in Ballyhornan, near Downpatrick, run activities for all age groups from the local community centre. They are using the Â£3,506 to upgrade the sports facilities with new fitness and play equipment.
The Journey Programme 04 Jan 2017
The funding will be used to run sessions for a group of disengaged young people around themes including image, motivation, and learning from mistakes and successes, along with a three day expedition. The project aims to address issues young people face, including low self-esteem and confidence.

This group will use the funding to provide lending library materials, information packs and workbooks that will allow parents who have a long term illness to talk more openly with their young children about their feeling and how to cope positively with illness and loss. The group provides activities for all age groups in the village of Claudy, Co Londonderry. They are using the Â£2,945 to run a week of events for the whole community to celebrate 25 years of the organisation and the difference it has made.
Shotton Spring Festival 29 Sep 2016
The organisation will use the funding to hold an intergenerational celebration day that will bring the community together for a full day of entertainment and activities for all ages to celebrate community life. The event will be held on Easter Saturday and will include activities such as egg and bonnet competitions, Easter egg hunt, community stalls, vintage cars, sing alongs, dance, crafts, circus workshop and chocolate modelling.
