#ICanBarista Project 03 Jan 2019
The project will offer barista training to people of all ages with learning disabilities to help them prepare for future employment opportunities. The training will take place alongside dance and holistic therapies.

The organisation intends on delivering dance classes for people with disabilities, long-term illness and those dealing with mental ill health. The aim of the classes is to improve the physical and mental health of beneficiaries as well as making dance activities more accessible. Funding will go towards dance uniforms Introduction to Dance courses, Pathways to Dance course, IDTA Assessments, IDTA Syllabus Manuals, and an anatomy Manual.
Flush with the Witches 03 Jan 2019
The church will establish a toilet which will always be open to the public within an old grave-diggers hut in the church grounds. The project aims to improve public hygiene and make the village more welcoming to tourists and walkers. The funding will go towards toilet furniture, pumping station, water heater and services.

The charity will run music-related workshops and three larger community events for adults with a range of learning disabilities. The project aims to help beneficiaries gain the confidence to take part in a range of everyday social activities. Funding will go towards staffing, publicity, refreshments, office supplies, printing materials, venue hire, travel, equipment, DBS checks and insurance.

The organisation will create a sensory intervention and wellbeing room on their school premises which will be fully accessible to the community during and outside of the school day. Funding will go towards, entrance works, fit out and electrics, decoration and refurbishment, sensory and audio equipment, lighting, furniture as well as soft furnishings.

The school aims to bring adults and children together from the community to produce artwork that will be displayed in and around the school with the aim of invoking community spirit. The funding will go towards site preparation works, consultation and workshop days, structure material and equipment, artist materials, paints and resources, and promotion and publicity.

The project will provide volunteering opportunities and other farming activities for people suffering from mental health issues and experiencing isolation. This will improve their wellbeing through gentle exercise and socialising with others.

This funding will be used to deliver weekly gentle seated exercise and Tai Chi sessions for older people in three local villages. This will also provide a series of informative sessions and handouts to raise awareness around health and wellbeing issues, and help improve the emotional and physical health of participants and reduce their isolation.

The organisation will use funding to expand and develop existing activities at its community allotment site. The project will establish a community shop selling produce, improve accessibility at the site and provide a series of community workshops and events. The aim is to create a self-sustaining outdoor community hub, connecting people of all ages and abilities in the area.

The aim of the project is to support the hub, working towards making it sustainable with everyone working together and supporting each other through a variety of community led activities. The funding will be used to deliver early intervention for members in order to support people who are facing hardship in the local community. The project aims to provide advice and support and sign post to other local support groups and organisations.
