Hayle Youth Project (HYP) 22 Mar 2017
This is a continuation and development of an existing project by Hayle Youth Project (HYP) that aims to improve the confidence, emotional resilience, aspirations and well-being of young people, aged 11 to 19. The group will deliver a wide-range of diversionary activities to reduce anti-social behaviour in the Hayle area of West Cornwall, and will also continue to support those who are most at risk of social exclusion or lacking in transferable skills.
Hall Refurbishment and Committee Help 08 Mar 2017
This group will use the funding to update the kitchen and toilets of a rural community building and also to provide a consultancy. This will make best use of the hall, maximizing the number of users and helping with its sustainability.
Playtime Pirates 15 Mar 2017
Playground equipment will be installed on the schoolâ€™s grounds with this funding. This will improve the schoolâ€™s space for play, including offering additional provision for community groups to access the equipment outside school time.
'Labyrinth' 08 Feb 2017
New play equipment will be installed, which will support the needs of children who face barriers to accessing outdoor resources. This will create new opportunities for safe and active play.
This group will use the funding to create an outdoor play area for young children. The play area will encourage children to engage in positive social activities and help create a stronger, more connected community.
This is a project to replace damaged Christmas lights for display in the village and erect safety fencing. This will enable residents to continue to enjoy the annual event safely, encourage new volunteers and involve local school children in the design of new displays.
Mind Your Health Newlyn 22 Feb 2017
A programme of wellbeing sessions will be delivered with the funding. The sessions will support people who are experiencing the effects of mental ill health and social disadvantage.
