The group will provide people from different backgrounds, including older people and adults with learning disabilities, with the opportunity to get together and maintain a local community garden, which in turn will reduce social isolation and promote wellbeing.

The parish council will install a community public access defibrillator in the village, providing residents and visitors with first response equipment in the event of a cardiac arrest, to be administered in advance of the arrival of the emergency services in a rural location.

The group will install outdoor play equipment for children of all ages and abilities on the local playing field. This will provide a safe and suitable place to play and socialise, with the aim of reducing isolation and loneliness.

Scottish Wheelchair Skills Workshops 31 May 2017
The delivery of 12 wheelchair skills workshops across Scotland for local children who are physically disabled and wheelchair users. The plan this year is to expand the small charity and establish a training team based in Scotland. This will be the first satellite training team in Scotland enabling us to meet the growing need in the region and deliver a greater number of workshops across the country.

The funding will be used by a primary school to develop an area of land and create a timber shelter, seating and planters. The project aims to provide healthy out of school activities for pupils in order to reduce isolation in their rural location.
This project is the delivery of somatic movement education sessions for people with disabilities. This will reduce social isolation and promote wellbeing.
