The project will deliver supported activities and workshops for adults with learning disabilities, including social, crafts, cooking, music and visits. This will help people to gain independence and reduce isolation.
The project will develop their job club so they can offer more sessions to help young people develop confidence and skills to improve their employment opportunities. They will train six young people as ‘job coaches’ to help them develop leadership skills and offer peer support to other young people.

This is a project based in Gateshead serving people in Newcastle. The project will organise monthly nutrition workshops for refugees, migrants, asylum seekers and their families in the east and west end of Newcastle. Sessions will focus on nutrition, healthy diets, gardening, and cooking skills, and provide signposting to health services to encourage people to make healthy lifestyle choices.
