The school will provide a covered outdoor area including a storytelling chair, amphitheatre seating and planters. This will enable children to take part in extracurricular activities all year round to help them develop and engage parents in their learning.
The project will develop a strategic development plan to help make the best use of their community centre for the benefit of the local community. They will train their volunteers in marketing, communications, bid writing and project evaluation to help provide activities and services to help address the needs of the local community.
The project will help local refugees and asylum seekers to access health services and make healthy lifestyle choices by offering HIV awareness, health checks, referrals, advice and information; healthy cooking and eating advice; exercise sessions; and a family sports and fun day.

The project will provide a safe environment and support for kinship carers and their children to help reduce the risk of placement breakdown. It will provide carers with peer and advocacy support, financial advice and signposting to service providers, as well as trips, activities, wellness therapies and respite. This will improve carers' coping mechanisms and the emotional wellbeing of children.
