Studio 65 28 Jan 2019
We plan to set up a fully functioning and well equipped ceramics studio in a currently unused premise in Old Trafford. Neighbouring the Limelight building - a local community hub - the Manchester Ceramics Collective studio will provide a creative centre and work-space for local small ceramics producers. The building will provide employment opportunities for the owners of 10-12 new and emerging ceramics companies and provide a creative space that will be used to nurture engagement in ceramics and offer opportunities for the local community to see ceramics exhibitions and get involved in pottery workshops.
Limelight Wellbeing Garden 21 Feb 2019
The project would involve the development of the Limelight Rooftop garden into a thriving community space providing a much-needed resource for tenants and local people to benefit from the social, economic, environmental and health benefits of food growing. We will take referrals from the GP and offer a social prescription service so people can get growing with us in the garden and meet others in the process.
Extended Service in Sale Moor 11 Mar 2019
The TBBT model always aims to be sustainable and asks for support in the first year of expansion into a new community hub. We are six months into embedding our partnership in with SMCP and need further help to get us to the point of being able to be sustainable.
Longford Community Choir 25 Mar 2019
We meet every Friday night to rehearse songs to perform at various events. We use Firswood Community Centre as it is convenient and safe for our choir members and there isn't much going on in this part of Stretford. We need ink to enable us to photocopy words so that our choir members can sing.
Skills Development Project 23 Apr 2019
The aim of this ongoing project will continue to focus on 3 things:- • Life skills and educational development of children through football. • Growth of the club in the community by engaging parents/volunteers to get involved and develop the skills required to sustain and take the club forward in the future. • Provide a physical wellbeing activity sponsored by the club for its members in the form of self-organised fitness classes.
Play Street 10 May 2019
Trafford Council have approached us to pilot/trial the new 'Play Street Order Scheme' for the borough as we expressed an interest in this a few years ago. We have agreed to trial it and as such we are applying for this funding to ensure this is a success and is safe. The funding covers equipment for activities.
Our ambition is to demolish our single-storey building, which is in a state of disrepair, and replace it with a flagship 3-storey building, and roof garden, which will be able to support triple the number of Greater Manchester residents than it does now - 50,000 in total every year. We are asking for help to rebuild as well as to fund an outreach programme of 15 events across Trafford to raise awareness of the Centre and how it can help LGBT+ people in Trafford.
Culture Champions 28 May 2019
is to develop age-friendly volunteering and engagement in cultural activities in Trafford. In partnership with the Great Place GM project, Manchester Museum and GMCA, this work will align with and support an expansion of the existing Culture Champions projects across Greater Manchester.
Abuse Community Outreach Project 28 Jun 2019
We will recruit and employ a Full Time Specialist Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker who will provide person centred support, targeted at their specific and individual needs and that lasts as long as the family needs it and not curtailed by time limited funding restrictions.
CAP Life Skills Service 16 Jul 2019
We seek to run a two year pilot delivering a free CAP Life Skills Service to both existing and past debt clients to enhance the current service we offer as well as support other local residents of Altrincham who have not accessed the Debt Service.
Redevelopment of outdoor play space 02 Aug 2019
We have noticed areas that need significant improvements, to sustain the high level of service we currently provide our service users. We need 4 Cheeky Monkeys to be safe and accessible to all.
Cubs go camping! 29 Aug 2019
purchasing 4 new large tents for the cub section, and some lighting and catering equipment. We then plan to do two camps this academic year, offering all 60 young people a chance to experience two, two night camps away from home with their friends in the sprite of scouting, doing activities away from wifi and computer screens.
2019-2021 Football Kit 09 Sep 2019
We would use the funding obtained in this project to fund the purchase of new kit for the 2 teams which otherwise would be difficult to obtain for many of the players due to the cost.
