Centenary Celebration Diner 04 Dec 2017
This group, based in Midlothian, will host a dinner to celebrate their 100th anniversary. It will bring together old and current members and the group will stage an exhibition of the history of both the village of Cousland and the organisation itself.
Lumsden Mary Fair 26 Mar 2018
This group will use the funding to run the annual Lumsden Mary Fair which will have a farming theme this year. The event will be attended by the Lumsden community and people from the surrounding area.
This group will use the funding to celebrate the club’s 30th anniversary year through a special group trip to Lake Windermere and a camera to capture the trip. This funding will also enrich the group’s regular activities through the provision of a new sound system and projector screen which will be used to run activities such as film nights and gentle exercise classes.
FITFAM Sports Club 01 Nov 2017
This group will deliver two weekly multi-sports clubs in the Clyde Valley Campus Sports Hub for local families. Local volunteers from will co-deliver the clubs along with a local experienced paid sessional coach.
Midlothian Wellbeing Mela 2018 30 Jan 2018
This organisation, based in Dalkeith, will use the funding to organise their annual mela which will feature music, dance, family friendly activities, meals, and wellbeing workshops. The event will be open to everyone in the local community.
Col-Glen Build the Boat Project 04 Dec 2017
This group bring members of their small and rurally isolated community together by building a traditional wooden rowing skiff. The skiff will provide a range of opportunities for local people to engage in rowing sessions and races.
Cheap as Chips Camp 2018 29 Nov 2017
This funding will allow everyone from the four Wishaw guide units to go to the Cheap as Chips guide camp by removing financial barriers. The camp will be educational and help build social skills, confidence, independence and team working abilities.
Messy Church and Holiday Club 26 Feb 2018
The grant will fund a five day summer holiday activity club and six afternoon Messy Church community events for children and young families within the local community of Motherwell.
Dyce Primary School Football Development Project 26 Mar 2018
This group will use the funding to develop an after school football programme in partnership with two community football clubs to provide a competitive pathway for pupils.
Rebound Therapy 26 Feb 2018
This group deliver a range of wellbeing activities for adults with additional support needs. This project will enable the group to continue and expand their programme of rebound therapy.
This group who are based in the village of Eastriggs operate a newly opened community building. This project will provide the group with a mix of running costs and activity workshops.
Craft Club 01 Nov 2017
This funding will allow the organisation to develop their new weekly Craft Club which supports people with Dementia and also people who have mental health issues.
This project will improve the energy efficiency of the Scout Hall by installing new lighting, hot water heaters, a fridge freezer, and heating in the shower room.
Tuesdays - Meet and Play Together 31 May 2017
This grant will provide opportunities for local parents/carers to come together to socialise and address issues while providing social, play and educational activities for children/parents.
