This charity will use funding to hold a publicity drive to recruit and train new volunteers. The project will encourage more people to volunteer and will enable the charity to extend its service throughout Devon. The grant will contribute towards events costs, display stands, projector hire, publicity and training.
The project is to set up craft/social clubs for older people. The money is for hire of meeting rooms, materials and travel costs for outings.
WW2 reminiscence project 24 Jun 2005
CSV Media Northern Ireland will use their award to hold events in order to collect memories about life during the Second World War. These memories will be recorded on the BBC People's War website. The memories will be recorded by trained volunteers along with Community Service Volunteer staff.
S.H.A.R.E 10 Jan 2013
CSV will engage young volunteers across Gwent to produce a DVD aimed at giving parents the information and skills to discuss relationships and sexual health with their children. This meets the Awards for All aim of 'improving the quality of life'. This grant for Â£4,928 will fund staff and volunteer expenses, promotion and marketing, DVD production and a community launch event.

Under their Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme, this group will place volunteers over 50 years of age with York's Out Of School clubs. They will bring experience and creativity to children under 10 years old. The award is for volunteer expenses, promotional materials, room hire and CSV travel expenses.
