Access to Childcare in Easterhouse 13 Oct 2004
This project will provide support to families in the Glasgow area. The organisation provides a variety of services to adults, young people and children who face poverty, exclusion or have a disability. The purchase of a mini bus will improve the existing services and increase participation, as well as widening the range of activities and opportunities available.
This group provides practical support and care for children, adults and famalies. The grant is for sessional fees, volunteer expenses, materials, outdoor preparation, creation and project co-ordination.
Person Centred Planning Development Project 02 May 2007
Quarrier's idea is to create a self sustaining and affordable person centred planning service to empower people with mental health concerns to make significant life changes. The idea is that the PCP service should operate on a social enterprise basis which will allow individuals to secure the support they require to enable them to achieve a more effective recovery. The grant will fund consultancy fees.
The group provide practical care and support to children, adults and families. The grant will fund paint, vinyl flooring, storage units, table and chairs, shelving, computer equipment, soft furnishings, toys, pictures, professional drama tutor fees, staging and production materials and venue hire.
Seafield School - Sport for All 07 Dec 2007
This project will develop an outdoor sports facility at Seafield School which supports many of Scotland's most vulnerable and challenging children. The school has no proper outdoor sports facilities. The facility will be made available to local mainstream schools and will encourage the establishment of a football league involving the young people at Seafield and local schools. This one year grant will fully fund the purchase, delivery and building of a 30m x 20m outdoor sports facility.

This project will be funded for two years to help 282 young people gain the skills and confidence to allow them to become more involved in the decision making processes which affect their lives. This project will allow young people to organise and deliver workshops, design their own information resources, develop their own campaigns and organise a conference to share and inform other young homeless people how to get their voices heard. The money will pay for the project salary costs..
The project aims to develop an Acquired Brain Injury service to provide support to people and their families following injury during their recovery and rehabilitation, located in the Forth Valley. The award will fund research to produce a needs assessment, which will shape the plan for the type of service that will best suit user needs. The grant will be used to pay for researcher fees, stationery, participant travel expenses, refreshments and venue hire.
Ruchazie Soft Play 04 Jun 2010
This group will create a soft play area at their Ruchazie Family Resource Centre. The grant will pay for soft play equipment, clear balls, wall and floor cushioning and a sofa.
The project based in Dumfries focuses on multi-sports activity days for children with disabilities and their fathers/male carers. This grant will fund multi-activity day costs for 15 children, 15 adults, instructors' fees, equipment, lunch, mini bus hire and fuel.
Coaching for Life 13 Oct 2010
This project provides young people leaving residential care in Wiltshire with access to a life coach to support them in their transition to independent living, improve educational attainment and coordinate support from designated support services. The project offers care leavers their own life coach who will work with them to establish an achievable pathway to independent life. The young people will follow their own personal development plans to build the confidence and skills to become independent.
This organisation will run indepen-dance classes for 15-20 of their clients interested in perusing a gentle form of physical exercise. This grant will fund the coaching fee's for 23 weeks of indepen-dance classes.
Coaching for Life 18 May 2016
This project will work with young people aged 16-25 who are in care, leaving care or with previous experience of care in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Renfrewshire and Falkirk. Using professional life coaches the project will provide practical knowledge, advocacy, emotional support, and developmental group work to build self-confidence.
Epilepsy Fieldwork 19 May 2016
This project will develop the organisation's community based support service for people with epilepsy and their carersâ€™, and expand the project beyond Grampian and Fife into Highland and Tayside. It will support carers to cope better and feel more supported as they care for a person with epilepsy.
Quarriers Early Years Early Intervention Project 11 Dec 2013
This project will support 110 vulnerable children and their parents/carers in the North East of Glasgow. It will help parents to improve their parenting skills and relationships with their children, and to better cope with the multiple challenges that they and their family face. It will also provide a holistic programme of childcare and parenting support, extending the provision of additional nursery places for vulnerable children aged 0-3 at Quarriers' Family Resource Centre in Ruchazie.
