Providing support for families in Scotland affected by the childhood eye cancer retinoblastoma, and driving faster future diagnosis by increasing awareness of the condition. Most children affected by Rb lose at least one eye and nearly all are left with lifelong significant visual impairment as a result of the treatment.
Impact Youth 18 Jan 2017
This group will use the funding to provide recreational and sporting activities for young people. The money will go towards board games, a karaoke machine, sport equipment, crafts and outings. This will improve the beneficiariesâ€™ life skills and self-esteem as well as help combat anti-social behaviour.
Whitleigh Scouts Computer Suite 08 Mar 2017
IT equipment will be provided to a scout group with this funding. This will allow the scouts to learn about electronics and computers â€“ developing their life skills and giving them a better chance in life.
Frontline Veterans Support 08 Mar 2017
This group will use the funding to support veterans, who have post-traumatic stress disorder and other mental and physical disabilities, to communicate with each other online. Those who are housebound will be able to network with each other and access weekly online meetings to relieve isolation.
Pilates Extend 20 Dec 2017
The funding will be used by a charity to run a programme of home-based exercise activities for older people who are experiencing the effects of isolation. The project aims to improve levels of mental and physical wellbeing.

This project will deliver a series of arts and outreach activities which will include migrants and culminate in community performances, improving relationships in the area.
Stepping Out 10 May 2017
Positive social activities such as sports, fishing, gardening and cooking, will be funded for men with mental health problems. This will lead to improved community engagement and reduced isolation.
Plymouth Armed Forces Week Participation 06 Dec 2017
The project will offer veterans the opportunity to attend the Plymouth Armed Forces Weekend, allowing them to build relationships and improve their wellbeing.
