Developing plan for Scout hall 19 Jan 2007

44th Glasgow Scout Group's idea is to either refurbish or build a new scout hall for the wider benefit of the Kelvindale community. The idea is to undertake a community consultation/feasibility study which will investigate community usage, architectural feasibility/options appraisal, drawings and technical specification of the option considered most appropriate.

This is provided through attractive scheme of progressive training based on the Scout Promise and Law. The group will purchase equipment and train four of its scout leaders to UKCC level 1 coaching award in order to introduce more people to the sport of Archery. The group will deliver indoor and outdoor sessions in Archery for scouts of all ages. They will also run come and try sessions for the wider community. The Great Climb 09 May 2011
