The funding is to support and establish a formal network of medical professional bodies to better affect migrant healthcare policy debates Train healthcare professionals in London, increasing their understanding of migrant’s healthcare needs entitlement and barriers to services. Further develop our advocacy work in London.

Media Movers is a pilot programme to test On Road Media’s “interaction” method to improve coverage of media relating to young people who migrate. The programme will identify and introduce activists with lived experience directly to journalists. On Road will also design a bespoke media and self-care training course for the network of young activists.

This group will expand a pilot project in more locations in England for victims of human trafficking. When a person who has experienced human trafficking is identified, they are given a 45 day period of rest and reflection in a safe house, after which they are vulnerable to re-trafficking and homelessness. This project will address this through building self-esteem, purpose and employability skills to facilitate reintegration and independence, by delivering workshops and work experience in a safe house.
Celebrating community awareness 15 Feb 2017
This project will deliver a community day event, with information, advice and stalls from local charities, employers and organisations. This will provide a platform to celebrate the group's work, and highlight employment and training opportunities in the borough for unemployed residents of Tower Hamlets and surrounding areas.
This is a project will provide leadership skills and resilience training for disadvantaged children and young people in the local area. This will provide people with positive activities and opportunities to increase their self-esteem and mental wellbeing.
