Inclusive Volunteering 21 Mar 2018
This organisation will continue to support people with learning difficulties into volunteering. The aim is to make volunteering accessible to everyone, bringing people together to reduce isolation, whilst improving confidence, self-esteem and life skills. As well as helping people with learning difficulties and people experiencing emotional and mental health problems, the project will also look to benefit people with physical or sensory disabilities and those who are long term unemployed.
Opening Doors / The Oasis 21 Feb 2018
The organisation will deliver community mental health training to beneficiaries to enable them to become part of their team working with other young people, with the aim of supporting young people to maintain and improve mental health and improving skills.
The company will provide a series of road safety sessions that will help novice drivers use the roads safely and highlight the consequences of poor driving standards.
A feasibility study will be carried out to determine the needs of the community and how they can improve the village church.
Unique Yoga and Aerial Fitness 26 Mar 2018
This group will run yoga and aerial fitness sessions for young people with additional needs and their carers and provide a peer support network. This will address issues of social isolation and provide wellbeing support.

The project will offer drama based workshops for young people with ill mental health who have been disadvantaged through homelessness or exclusion from education. The work will support them to develop new skills, gain confidence and much needed peer support.
The Hub 04 Jul 2018
This funding will expand this group’s work of providing people with activities and cultural events in a rural area. They take place at The Hub, where music therapy and crafts are on offer. There is also a community garden, a library and a café, providing people with a comfortable and welcoming environment to learn new skills and get to know each other. This project aims to create a well-connected community and provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to get involved.
