Youth Sport Omagh Refurbishment Work 15 Feb 2018
The Omagh based cross-community organisation runs sports and physical activity programmes for young people in the area. It is using the grant of £8,800 to refurbish its building, including putting in a new carpet, replacing the doors, and installing energy-efficient lighting.
The playgroup, based in Garrison, Co Fermanagh, is using the £10,000 grant to resurface the soft play area, build an outdoor learning space and playhouse, and to install two buddy benches.
Gortins Hub and Hive 26 Jun 2018
The group in Gortin, Co Tyrone, received £194,695 to develop more community activities at Gortin Outdoor Activity Centre and Owenkillew Community Centre. Over four years the activities will benefit people living in Gortin, Owenkillew, Plumbridge, Fairy Water and Newtownstewart, improving their wellbeing, physical health and skills. The project is also part funding a kitchen extension, an accessible area for workshops, and a polytunnel.

The project is using the £496,707 grant for the B-Friend Hub project, which is supporting older people living in the Western Trust areas of Fermanagh, Omagh and Strabane. The project, which is working with Strabane Community Project, has been developed using ideas from older people. It is supporting them to live independently in their own homes, stay connected to their community, access information and improve their health and wellbeing through a befriending service and a Good Morning Service.

The primary school, based in Trillick, is using the £10,000 grant to buy a RecoBox to use as an interactive classroom and outdoor play area, which encourages outdoor activity and learning about nature.
The group, based in Fintona, are using a £5,460 grant to run a year of events including football, karting, darts, indoor bowls, and a Burns night celebration. They are also using the funding to establish a youth club for young people in the local area.

Grant to Lisanelly Regeneration Group 08 May 2018
This project will support children living in an area of rural deprivation with a summer activities programme, offering arts, crafts, dance, sport and activity trips, that will develop life and social skills whilst having fun with friends.
The organisation, based in the Carrickmore area, is using a £10,000 grant to establish five new subgroups of first responders to better serve the local area. They’re also recruiting new volunteer members to support these subgroups.
