War memorial 2018 03 Mar 2017
A project to provide a war memorial to commemorate the centenary of the WWI Armistice in Nov 2018, to include the commissioning of bid writing to support project.
They are seeking funding to engaging children/young people in a number of activities including English Language training, ICT training, homework club and additional activities at the weekends. A trip to the coast in the summer is also being considered.
Improving Young People's Chances Through Sports 30 Jan 2017
This project will provide weekly extracurricular multi sports activities to disadvantaged young people to encourage the development of self-esteem, confidence, problem solving, communication, life skills and healthier lifestyles.

Sparkhill United would like to set up a new community project aimed at encouraging young men away from drugs, crime, extremism and gang culture into sport. Weekly behaviour management and football coaching sessions will encourage positive behaviour and boost self-esteem.

This project will provide opportunities for young people who have been bullied to experience stimulating and fun activities that build confidence, self-esteem and independence and a sense of joy again.
