Grant to Grow Project 16 Mar 2018
The Grow Project works with adults with mental health issues in the greater Brighton & Hove area. Funding was provided to enable the group to run 2 x 8 week courses called 'The Season'. Groups of 12 participants will travel from central Brighton to the National Trust’s Saddlecombe Farm or other locations in the South Downs and carry out a wide range of activities to suit mood, energy level, physical ability and interest.

The Antifreeze centre, through the Off the Fence Trust, provides a safe space and welcoming place to connect with others in the community, and offers practical and emotional support for exiting homelessness. Funding was provided towards running costs.
Grant to Lancing United Football Club 19 Mar 2018
A grant was provided towards Lancing Football Club's 'train and retain' programme. The aim of this programme is to keep people involved in football. Funding was provided to enable them to hire a part time UEFA qualified coach to work with all the age groups and local schools.
Grant to Bognorphenia CIC 16 Mar 2018
Bognorphenia is an organisation that celebrates the past, present and future of Bognor Regis. Funding was provided for staging equipment for a performance on Bognorphenia’s Young People’s Day on the 28th -29th of April 2018. This performance was a showcase of circus skills learnt by a class of around 15 young people over a period of 6 weeks.

The main aim of CDSSG is to provide speech therapy for our children when they need it. Funding was provided towards speech therapy and early intervention for all the children needing these services in 2018.
Grant to Rye Christmas Festival 21 Mar 2018
The Rye Community festival is a one day festival to celebrate Christmas. Funding was provided to enable the festival to facilitate an arts project with local schools to add to the decor of the town. It also supported the costs of purchasing an interactive snow globe with a backdrop of Rye and the hire of street performers and balloon artists to encourage more fun and activity to the High Street.
National Autistic Society Bexhill and Hastings are a parent-volunteer group that provides support to families across both Bexhill and Hastings with children / young adults who suffer from the life-long disability of autism. Funding was provided to support a number of sporting events including swimming, trampolining and indoor ski-ing.
Grant to 4 Centres CIC 16 Mar 2018
The overall aim of the 4 Centres CIC is to meet a range of needs identified by local residents. Funding was provided to support them to set up a pilot project for a Community Store in Ore, providing low cost food to those in need in the poorest, most deprived parts of Hastings. The grant will pay for the front end costs to get the store up and running, including a shipping container for storage space and membership of the Sussex Fareshare food distribution scheme.

Heene Community Association (HCA) serves the deprived wards of Heene and Central. Funding was provided to help provide much needed computer facilities and training for the minority ethnic and over 65s+, the unemployed, the disabled, the disadvantaged, including "speak easy" computer systems for the blind and visually impaired.

Funding was provided as a contribution towards the cost of running a weekly guitar group called New Note Strummers. This group is a New Note project designed for people who have complex needs, primarily around addiction but with mental and physical health needs.

Selsey Community Forum aims to enable residents to work together to discern local needs and find solutions to them. Funding was provided to pay the hire costs for a local facility one afternoon a week. This will provide a safe, pleasant space for social interaction in Selsey.
Grant to Disability Inclusion CIC 14 Jul 2017
Disability Inclusion CIC offers a range of services to organisations in the private, statutory and voluntary sector to help make services and facilities inclusive for disabled people. Funding was provided to enable them to develop their online directory of accessible venues and events calendar. It will also enable them to bring together information about accessible venues and events taking place in Hastings and the surrounding area via their website and regular events newsletter in a variety of formats to meet the needs of people with different impairments.
PARENTS READING PROJECT 17 Jul 2017
St Mark's CE Primary School are developing a new canopy area for drop in parent/child reading sessions and workshops that will promote a love of reading for the families. Funding was provided to support the costs of providing seating and books for this new area.

Horsham Child Contact Centre provide a safe neutral venue for children to have contact with family members that they would otherwise not be able to have a consistent relationship with. Funding was provided mainly to cover salary costs but also for training.

The Summer Madness is an established event led by a group of community driven individuals eager to celebrate and support the community under the values of equality, respect and sportsmanship. Funding was provided to support the development of a Whithawk's Got Talent event.
