Go Wild Day - 20 Year Anniversary 19 Dec 2016
This project maintains the local Nature Reserve and runs a wildlife education day (Go Wild day) once a year to get local children interested in wildlife. The organisation will hold an event to celebrate 20 years of Go Wild day in the local village community centre. This will include a bat talk and walk, exotic animal show, a petting zoo and fishing taster sessions.
Open Door Project 29 Sep 2016
This project will use the funding to host an afternoon tea party to establish links and friendships within their diverse local community, discuss the history of the local area, and enhance community spirit.
Let's Celebrate 19 Dec 2016
The project will use the funding to celebrate their park and its new facilities and amenities by providing a community event including games, music, food, entertainment and a bowling tournament. This will enable people to spend time together in a community location.

The funding will enable this group to buy sewing machines, materials, storage, utensils and also day trips for the members. Many of the group members have now gained an increased level of self esteem. By bringing the members new experiences this will lessen the likelihood that they will become socially isolated, many of whom are of an older generation and would otherwise be at risk of this.
10-years Celebration. 13 Oct 2016
This project is a community fun day, culminating in an evening awards ceremony for young members and their volunteers. This will bring people together to celebrate the group's 10 years of volunteer service and the achievements their young members have made.

The organisation will use the funding to hold a one day celebration of food, friendship and peer support to bring together members of their diverse community. This will provide an inclusive event that will bring a variety of members of the community together.

This project will use the funding to celebrate the positive impact and experiences that local young people have through cycling experiences, sexual health advice, apprenticeship support services, smoothie bike & food stalls, inflatable fun, sports sessions, drugs and alcohol information and graffiti art. This will enable the organisation to develop young volunteers with the delivery of the event and activities to ensure the tone remain relevant to the local community.

The organisation will use the funding to hold a launch event to promote the services it will offer as a free legal advice centre. This will enable the organisation to showcase the free services it will offer to the community and the celebration will act as a catalyst for people to engage with the law centre and become involved via volunteering opportunities.

The organisation will use the funding to purchase equipment and cutlery to help run a small cafÃ© for older people in the area. This will enable the organisation to continue to provide a place for older people to socialise and have access to basic hot food and drinks.

The group will use funding to install fencing around the perimeter of their allotment site. This will provide service users with a safe environment, with the aim of reducing incidences of break ins and vandalism.
Ilford Avenue Community Cabin 08 Jun 2016
The organisation will use the funding to purchase a mobile portacabin for the allotment site which is used by a number of elderly and disabled members of the association and also able bodied people from the wider community. This will enable the organisation to provide an anti-vandal cabin, which they will use as a base for plant sales, bake sales, coffee mornings, open days, harvest festivals and many other events, for the benefit of the members of the allotment site and the local community.

The organisation will use the funding to offer activities and trips to older people in the local community. This will reduce isolation and loneliness through provision of regular leisure and social opportunities.

This project will use the funding to host a BBQ for all members of the local community. This will enable the organisation to celebrate itâ€™s achievements in achieving a â€˜Goodâ€™ Ofstead rating, and establish constructive links with parents, carers and other local people, including older generations. The event will also provide an opportunity to get more people involved with the schoolâ€™s PTA. Activities will include yoga and mindfulness sessions, a bouncy castle and an airtack.
