This group was established in 2001 to represent the Afghan community in Scotland. The project will bring together BME people from different backgrounds and faiths at a cultural event to celebrate Eid in the west end of Glasgow.

The group provide recreational facilities within a safe environment that promotes educational and social activities for the local community. The group will use the funding to celebrate the history of the organisation as it is its 185th anniversary with the people in their area.

The organisation aims to empower ethnic minorities, refugees and foreign national young people in Scotland supporting their full participation in society. The project will celebrate the cultures of Asian, European and African communities in Scotland.
This group will use the funding to run their parent and child support group, which is currently attended by 30 local families.
Community Safety Village - MIDFEST 12 Jun 2015
This group will use the funding for materials which will be used to stage a public community safety event in September 2015.
This group provides a hub for all pigeon fanciers in the area. The funding will be used to purchase and install a portable cabin.
This group is seeking to transfer ownership of Gallow Hill (an area of woodland of 30 hectares which overlooks Moffat) to the community. The local landowner has indicated that he would be willing to sell the land to the community. The group will use the funding for a valuation of the land which is a key requirement before the project can be further progressed.
