Wild Tots in Monmouthshire will use the grant to setup four new branches of their group in the Monmouthshire and Blaenau Gwent areas. This grant for Â£4,960 will part fund the production of a starter pack, courses, volunteer expenses, sessional worker fees, uniform, induction costs, and two fire pits.
Kinson Summer Festival 2016 23 Mar 2016
The group will use the funding to stage a summer festival with volunteer training for the community which has lacked development opportunities. This will promote positive perceptions of the area and bring beneficiaries together for volunteering and employment opportunities.
Newport Celebrates International Womens Day 08 Dec 2016
Newport Live Project will use the grant to hold an event to celebrate International Womenâ€™s Day on 8th March. The project will bring together the people of Newport to celebrate the achievements of inspirational women with the whole community. This grant for Â£2,000 will fund workshop costs, film license, performances, speakerâ€™s expenses, crÃ¨che, marketing and transport for schools.
The group will use the funding to purchase camping equipment. This will enable young people experiencing the effects of emotional and mental health issues to take part in outdoor activities which benefit their life skills and confidence.
Little Disciples Out Of School Club 19 May 2016
Little Disciples Out Of School Club in Flintshire will use the grant to purchase equipment that will allow them to set up an after school club. This grant for Â£4,749 will fund storage cabinets, craft material, TV, DVD player, outdoor/indoor play equipment, first aid kits, stationery, notice boards, a shaded outside area, computer and printer.
Valleys Golf Enterprise Ltd in Rhondda Cynon Taf will use the grant to run programmes to improve the movement and flexibility of people over 50, increasing wellbeing, and reducing social isolation. This grant for Â£4,672 will fund the hire of golf balls, coaching fees, refreshments, marketing and equipment.
The Twits workshops and performances. 26 Jul 2016
Project Summary : Avant in Rhondda Cynon Taff will use the grant to provide activities and performances based on the Twits by Roald Dahl as part of the Garth Olwg Centreâ€™s celebration of improvements in literacy of people in the area. This grant for Â£2,000 will fund workshop leaders, a project leader and volunteer expenses.
The group will use the funding to plan and run community Carnival event. This will engage the local community in a multi-cultural event to improve community cohesion. The project will also provide volunteers with essential skills and experience in planning events which enable the support further events.
Musical Performance Enhancement Equipment / Venue Hire & Tutor Support
The group will use the funding to install a new door in their scout hut leading to the camping area. This will improve facilities and safety usage.
This group will use the funding to provide a programme of sports, health and well-being activities.
This parish council will use the funding to purchase and install modern play equipment suitable for use by younger children at its village play area. This will enable the group to remove damaged and unsafe equipment and replace it with items that will provide children with accessible outdoor play facilities.

The Getaway, based in Ely, will refurbish their community building with the help of the local community and artists. This grant for Â£4,940 is for paint, painting material, furniture materials, fabric, health and safety equipment, refreshments, publicity, translation, artist fees, materials for art activities and administration.

This group was established in 2001 to represent the Afghan community in Scotland. The project will bring together BME people from different backgrounds and faiths at a cultural event to celebrate Eid in the west end of Glasgow.
