Southbourne Men's Shed is a facility/meeting place where older men can meet and socialise in their club-room or work on individual or group or community projects in their woodwork or metalwork rooms. Funding was provided to help meet costs of a new trailer coach/carriage for children and adults to sit on behind the locomotive.

The 15th Brighton scout group provides a balanced programme of activities for its members. The scout group is fortunate to have a dedicated hut for use by Beavers, Cubs and Scouts as well as being rented to a few community groups. Funding was provided towards repairs to the roof.

Allsorts Youth Project supports, empowers and connects children & young people under 26 who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or unsure (LGBTU) of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. Funding was provided to support four 'Bushcraft Away Days' for their LGBTU children & young people including their Kids Group (5-11); TAG (under 16's); Drop-in (16-25); Trans-formers (16-25).

Art in Mind uses art to raise awareness of mental health issues experienced by young people. Funding was provided to support 30 volunteers aged 16-25 in designing and delivering art workshops about mental health issues to 100 children ages 11-18
Arun and Chichester Citizens Advice (ACCA) provides free, independent and confidential advice on rights and responsibilities and helps people with their everyday problems. Funding was provided to pay for an experienced advisor to assist front line workers for one day a week for 6 months.

The Bridge is a community education centre in Moulsecoomb working to empower adults experiencing disadvantage and social isolation. 'Age-venture' is a peer network, a lunch club and a holistic programme of activities - designed to empower over 65's to access and explore what adventure means to them. Friday Drop In Sessions at Manor Gym 22 Feb 2018
Brighton Pebbles is a parent led charity for families with disabled children in Brighton & Hove. They are open to families affected by any disability but particularly those who find accessing mainstream activities difficult due to severe learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour. Funding was provided to support a weekly drop in session for families with disabled children at the Manor Gym and specifically to pay for healthy snacks for the sessions.
The Brighton Unemployed Centre Families Project is based in a large multi-functional community centre and has outdoor space and allotments. They run a freely accessible Community Centre which aims to provide a package of practical, user run services, which help families and individuals to challenge the effects of poverty and disadvantage. Funding was provided towards the cost of a project worker.
The Carer's Garden 22 Feb 2018
The Carers Centre offers support and information to people who live in the Brighton & Hove area who provide unpaid care to a family member or friend. Funding was provided to support users of the garden to take a trip to Arundel Wetlands and wildlife Centre.

Chichester District Foodbank provides 3 day emergency food parcels and support through signposting for local residents in crisis. Funding was provided towards The Kids Lunch Pack Scheme which provides a five day lunch pack each week during to the 3 main holidays to children who usually receive free school meals due to low income.
