Rode Heath Young Peoples Community Centre Limited run a young people’s Community Centre, utilised by a range of children and young people’s groups. The organisation have identified a need for modernising their kitchen to provide better facilities for the young people’s groups, who use the centre. The grant makes a contribution towards the kitchen refurbishment.

This group will use the funding to establish a multipurpose shop and coffee bar for young people that will provide a safe and secure place for young people to get together and become involved in volunteering and youth training opportunities. This will enable young people to become involved in a training and working environment that will encourage future employment.
Arts Project for People with Dementia 31 Mar 2006
This group provides support, information and advice for people with all forms of dementia, their families and carers. The project is to set up and run 2 groups, providing arts and crafts activities for people with dementia. One group will be for people under 65, the other for older people.
This organisation works with young people on the streets of the Saffron Estate and in open spaces, providing advice and guidance on issues that affect young people's lives. The project will work with young people to improve long term economic activity by increasing the number of employment and training opportunities available to them by offering courses.
'Never Felt Better' 12 Aug 2015
The organisation will use the funding to offer craft workshops for local people who are isolated or marginalised, including older people, people with mental health issues and young people. This will bring local people together to take part in positive activities, reducing isolation and loneliness.
