The organisation will use the funding to provide boat trips for the local community focusing on older people and volunteers with mental health issues from local charities and increase organisational capacity through training and DBS checks. This will aim to reduce isolation of older people and improve mental health and wellbeing of volunteers through canal boat trips.

The funding will provide for sessional fitness coaching for disabled young people, a 12 week healthy eating and nutrition course, a one day visit to a CrossFit competition, marketing materials and fitness equipment. The project will focus on delivering fun activities to build fitness levels, develop their life skills and promote understanding and inclusion across the whole community.

The organisation will use the funding to create an outdoor learning and play area for the children and their parents, who live in an inner city area with few green spaces or parks for the children to play outside of school hours. The organisation will use the funding to pilot the creation and development of a cafe operated by ex-Service personnel who have experienced mental health issues as a result of their experiences in the Armed Forces. The organisation will use the funding to establish a heart care group to provide weekly advice, guidance and support for people who have long term health issues in Salford. This will reduce social isolation and increase confidence of participants.
The organisation will use the funding to install an adventure play area within their grounds. This will improve the facilities of the pre-school and provide play activities to encourage young children to become more active, and to help aid their development.

The community interest company in Liverpool will use the funding to deliver one-to-one employment skills development support and coaching to unemployed young people and adults from the BAME communities, together with group workshops provided by mobile outreach sessions, and the setting up costs of a permanent office base. The organisation will use the funding to carry out a feasibility study into a mobile phone app to provide support to people with mental health issues. The project will build the capacity of the organisation so that they are in a better position to launch the app and support people with mental health issues.
The organisation will use the funding to provide training for 20 women from local African communities in designing and making African garments, sewing, and clothing alterations. This will enable the group to empower women who are often isolated and living in deprivation to develop a practical skill that can be used to secure employment or set up their own small enterprise, reducing isolation and deprivation as well as encouraging increased community engagement.

This project maintains the local Nature Reserve and runs a wildlife education day (Go Wild day) once a year to get local children interested in wildlife. The organisation will hold an event to celebrate 20 years of Go Wild day in the local village community centre. This will include a bat talk and walk, exotic animal show, a petting zoo and fishing taster sessions.

This project will purchase equipment for the new multi-sensory rooms for individuals with special needs. This will provide support and interventions for individuals with Autism, sensory processing disorders, learning disabilities, mental health issues and acute brain injuries.
