Dyfi Land Share in Machynlleth will use the grant to build a show allotment to give volunteers experience in allotmenteering and to demonstrate sustainable food growing to the local community. This grant for Â£4,737 will fund construction materials, tools, crop protection, organic materials, plants and seeds, printing, translation costs, insurance, volunteer costs, and show allotment preparation.

The academy will deliver a series of activities leading up to a spring festival based on the Hindu celebration of Holi. They will bring together people and families from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and religions to celebrate the start of spring, learn about and understand different cultures, take part in activities delivered in partnership with local community groups, and engage with nature.
