This will provide older people with access to the internet so they can learn new skills and contact family and friends and provide a dementia pod to support the needs of older people with dementia through reminiscent therapy activities.

The organisation will use the funding to run a programme of events and a cultural community day. This will enable the organisation to bring people together from diverse backgrounds and promote understanding of the issues faced by refugees and migrants.

The organisation will use the funding to refurbish the local community centre which will installing new flooring, refit their lounge area and purchase a dishwasher. This project will hold a one-day celebration event for the whole community involving an outdoor circus show, a stage for local groups and schools to perform, walking tours, fairground stalls, food stands and stands from local organisations. This will help people from all generations think about their community and celebrate their area.
Love Leigh Park!
This project will hold two days of activities to bring people in the community of Leigh Park together to celebrate their community's past, present and future. It will feature craft sessions, food and drink, a coffee morning, competitions, performances from local groups and schools and a film night running between February and April 2017.

The organisation will use the funding to send the senior members of their association on an activity break. This will provide a weekend of social and recreational activities to reduce social isolation amongst older people within the community.
