The grant will be used to create 24 after school places and 24 holiday places for children aged 4 to 11 years old in Ardboe, County Tyrone.
Outdoor Play Area for Playgroup
The project will create an outdoor play area for an existing 26 place playgroup in Ardboe. The current grassed and hard surfaced external area will be made secure, with specialised equipment and safety surfacing also being installed.
WWII exhibition, music and information event
This formally constitued group would use an award to organise a 5 day event from 6 April 2005 to 10 April 2005 to celebrate 60 years of the the end of the Second World War. The event would include Exhibitions: GI's in Ulster, Evacuees, Uniforms of the Time, Memories - Local Reminiscenses; Lectures: The Blitz, Ulster Home Guard and to local Secondary schools; Activites: Royal Irish Band, Swing Band and Local Silver Band.
Bellaghy Primary School
Bellaghy Primary School is situated in a small rural village in Co. Londonderry, with an eight-mile catchment radius. The project involves carrying out improvements to an existing grass area to provide a sand carpet, natural grass sports surface, (55x15m). The primary beneficiaries of the project will be the 35 pupils at the school along with approximately 220 beneficiaries from other local schools and the local youth group.

The grant will allow the association to offer therapeutic horse riding lessons for disabled people in the area.
Money & Debt Advice Worker
The project will provide a dedicated money advice service to people living in the Dungannon area. The service will handle multiple debt and complex cases and will also work with schools, community organisations and other interested bodies to deliver advice on money management and debt prevention.

WW2 Variety Show, Parade and BBQ
CABIN, in Northern Ireland, will use their award to hold a weekend of celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of the end of World War Two. A 'Good Old Days Variety Show' will encompass acts including Very Lynn and other WW2 groups. A fancy dress parade for children will see them dress in 1940's costumes. There will be WW2 memorabilia exhibit and to finish the evening off, a 1940's dance will be held.
Collation and presentation of information and reminiscences about WW2
Desertmartin Community Developments Ltd have been awarded a grant to help celebrate the anniversary of the end of WW2. They will gather together artefacts and historical accounts and put together a major display for remembrance weekend and a booklet for use in schools and libraries.
Visit to Edinburgh Castle, Glasgow War Museum and Workshops
The Four End Social Club have been awarded a grant to undertake a trip to Scotland to visit the Glasgow War Museum and Edinburgh Castle.
The organisation is a pre-school playgroup in Draperstown, Co. Derry established in 2000. This application for funding will ensure that the playgroup is appropriately staffed to provide 20 childcare places.
Ballinascreen Centre of Excellence
The project will create new childcare facilities in the Plantation Centre in Draperstown. An existing childcare provider that currently offers 48 pre-school places from a building in disrepair plans to relocate to the refurbished centre. There will also be 10 mother and toddler places created at the centre.

Galbally Social and Economic Forum was set up to promote the social and economic well being of the local communities of Galbally, Cappagh and Altmore, near Dungannon. The organisation provides facilities for local people and also aims to build capacity within a number of other local community groups working with discrete sections of the local population.
Increasing Levels of Physical Activity Among Older People
Helping Hands will employ a full-time Physical Activity Co-ordinator for 15 months to develop and organise physical activity sessions for three days per week for 300 older people in the Cookstown district who have sedentary lifestyle habits. They also aim to train a team of five volunteers to maintain the activities after the co-ordinator leaves.
'Fit 4 U' Project
This two-year project will deliver a range of physical activities (for example, arm chair aerobics, aqua aerobics, walking, indoor bowls, swimming, wheelchair basketball) for 59 people with physical and or sensory disabilities within the Armagh, Dungannon and Moy areas.
