Award will be used to brighten up the Marlpit Community Centre, with a mural and graffiti art project designed and painted by the Centre's members in conjunction with local artists.The Project will improve people's skills, creativity and their local environment.
Association aim to increase participation in the sport of hockey across Norfolk, improve the standard of hockey coaching and increase the numbers of hockey umpires. Award will enable them to do this by providing extra-curricular hockey festivals for six schools and holding Hockey Leadership Award courses and a Young Umpire day for young people. This project will extend participation in the sport and community involvement in local clubs.
Group will substantially upgrade their website by providing a searchable database containing information on local facilities, suppliers, support services and other resources for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, enabling them to fully participate in their local community.
Creative Singing Project
Music group primarily involved in singing, uses an award to be able to offer opportunities to attract new people, particularly those who have not previously been involved in singing or writing, to take up this creative & rewarding activity in company with other like minded people and enjoy developing their skills writing and singing music.
Music workshops - Noise construction
This Charity involve the local community, particularly young people, in learning opportunities, they target over 13's who are vulnerable and/or at risk of exclusion. Award will enable them to run a series of new music workshops that encourage creativity and teach a variety of music making skills.
Award will be used to purchase a wide range of musical instruments which the Group will use in their popular music projects and workshops. These include 'Bite-sized', a taster programme; the innovative Drums & DJ's workshop; Composition and Making Music workshops; and supporting young people interested in forming bands.
District challenge day
The district is an umbrella organisation for 2 Rainbow, 2 Brownie and 2 guide units. An award will enable them to provide a day of new activities, including archery, football, korfball, maypole dancing, open air cooking and crafts.
To provide a warm and secure environment for children using the group's scout hut. The existing hut is unusable during very cold weather the award will extend its use throughout the year both for the scouts and other community users.
Crossing into communities
Project is an awareness raising measure, aiming to provide information on basic British law to a wide range of non-native English speakers, primarily Portuguese and Russian migrant workers and immigrants. the creation of legal information packages in a variety languages, will be made available in the local community. For its own lobby, the CAB wants to purchase a rolling poster, displaying up to date information, including legal changes.

Charity is a multi district CVS that manages three volunteer centres. Grant will be used to hold a conference and launch a volunteer manager support network, both aimed at increasing the capacity of voluntary and community groups in Norfolk to recruit, retain and support volunteers.

Community Association uses an award to renew old , damaged and potentially dangerous furniture to facilitate increased and safe use of their centre by local commmunity groups in this urban area of Norwich

Attending the association's grand reunion
To enable members to participate in a grand reunion in April 2006, meeting ex comrades for what for many may be the last occasion.
