To provide literacy and numeracy support to residents of the community.
The project will improve the literacy and numeracy skills, increase self worth and employability of 330 clients living within the Community Planning Partnerships' most deprived areas in North Ayr. This will be done through a tuition service and SQA courses in communications and numeracy at an introductory and intermediate level. Training will be delivered on an individual or group basis as appropriate.

Volunteer Centre South Ayrshire
This project will provide a youth volunteering service called 'Ready to Volunteer' to 150 young people from the South Ayrshire area. The beneficiaries targeted will include teenage girls, young people with disabilities, those leaving care, people at risk of offending and young people from black and ethnic minority communities. These people will be recruited through local schools, colleges, youth initiatives, youth justice services and other local authority services.
