The film club has proved to be very popular and we are seeking funding to purchase a projector and a stand alone DVD player to make it possible to move this monthly activity into a larger room so we can invite other local elderly residents to join us.

Pickering Lodge Community Plot
We will be creating a community plot consisting of a donated poly tunnel, cultivated area and compost bins which can be used by local primary and secondary schools and community groups to assist in horticultural education and environmental projects.
Kids play activities
would like to introduce kids play activities in the park and would also like to make full use of the current redundant bowling green currently located in Lostock park by creating a bowling club for the younger generation and encourage them to go outdoors and get involved with the community as well as make full use of the outdoor equipment.
a holiday hunger food provision for up to 20 children per day over a two week period. We aim to provide lunch for children who would usually qualify for a free school meal and may be going hungry in the holidays when families finances are stretched.
Pilates and Wellbeing for woman
The project with be based on Pilates classes with a focus on improving health and wellbeing in the community. The classes will be structured to help woman make positive changes to their physical and mental health by helping them develop the skills needed to do this.
Replace worn and unsafe boxing equipment
To replace worn out boxing equipment that has seen better days , which will eventually cause a health and safety issue to our members. All theses items are required to enable the boxing club to deliver the boxing coaching with safe equipment to keep our members engaged in the boxing training.
KIDS CINEMA CLUB-START UP
We would like to run a six weeks pilot that would enable young children from the Old Trafford the opportunities to socialise, be educated, have fun and most importantly be safe and away from the real dangers of the streets.
