Space Cadet Journey
our project reaches out to children & young people for them to get involved in our hands-on STEM workshops and take part in project-led events through weekly, monthly and quarterly activity sessions. Currently this is biweekly at Broomwood, Timperley, Altrincham with monthly “taster” science shows delivered in the other Trafford locations: Sale, Stretford, Urmston & Old Trafford.

ROC+COACH Community Mentoring, is a scheme which seeks to provide an early intervention mentoring scheme for young people and families.
Be In The Know
We aim to provide a ‘creative safe space’ for children and young people to begin conversations about online safety and child sexual exploitation. The way we do this is through interactive workshops in schools and community spaces. If they feel comfortable talking about it, the likelihood is they will share their knowledge with each other and their peers, they will also recognise the warning signs and it will flag up potential risky behaviour.

Taking elderly care home residents out for bikes rides in their local community on specially adapted passenger bicycles.
A community pantomime hosted by BCA in the Primary School, Talegate productions are hired to deliver the pantomime, BCA members & volunteers organise stalls for attendees to enjoy and socialise together in a foyer style.
We wish to open a further Pantry Shop, again based on a Stockport Homes model, selling affordable products that local low waged and unemployed community members can afford. The Stockport Pantry model asserts that 10 grocery food items can be chosen and bought for £3.00 from a membership.

want to deliver a series of lessons in my local community of Flixton to primary school children which follow a scheme of work involving a range of STEM
Ashley Activity Centre
a weekend away to Ashley Activity centre for our local brownie unit
To expand our activities on regular litter pick events and purchase more equipment for our outreach (solo litter pickers) and replenish and expand our activities with groups like Timperley Tidiers and Friends of Moor Nook park.
