Recipient Org: Description GoodGym is a Company Limited by Guarantee and a Charity that aims to promote physical activity, increase volunteering and reduce loneliness and isolation amongst older people. GoodGym set up and co-ordinate running groups in local areas that match people who want to get fit with opportunities to volunteer in their community. This activity takes place in three main ways:_x000D_ - GoodGym pair runners with isolated older people and the runners commit to make a weekly visit as part of their workout._x000D_ - GoodGym employ qualified personal trainers who organise weekly group runs who help community organisations with tasks like clearing allotments or renovating classrooms._x000D_ - GoodGym coordinate 'missions' in which runners support isolated people and community organisations with one-off household tasks and odd jobs._x000D_ Twenty-three GoodGyms have been established so far across the UK. Across the organisation there are 7 Full-time staff, 15 Part-time staff and 1 volunteer who is based in their main office. A management committee of 3 oversees the organisation's operations.
