Recipient Org: Description Established in April 2006, Liquid Connection was a registered charity which aims "to bring hope and opportunities to young people in North Leatherhead and across the borough of Mole Valley in Surrey, particularly aiming to support 'at risk' and vulnerable young people who are facing difficult circumstances." Liquid Connection merged with Leatherhead Youth Project (LYP), which is a registered charity working to see positive social transformation amongst teenagers in deprived communities in Surrey through the provision of innovative youth services and life changing opportunities._x000D_ LYP provides youth services which help disadvantaged young people feel valued, encouraged, learning new skills, and successfully transitioning to adulthood. Our approach is about being relational – we believe that by building positive relationships with young people and their families, together we can see positive change in our community in the long term. _x000D_ Our flagship youth project is BFree Youth Café in Leatherhead, a drop-in service which is open every day after school for local young people. This project is a lifeline for more than 80 vulnerable young people who attend each week, providing them with a place to be safe, seek advice from experienced youth workers and counselors, and get involved with positive activities such as cooking, training to be a barista at our social enterprise coffee shop Allsaints, and completing AQA awards and Duke of Edinburgh
