Recipient Org: Description The Children's Trust (TCT) is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. It is based in Tadworth, Surrey. The Charity provides rehabilitation, education, therapy, and care to support children with brain injury, and their families, at its national specialist centre in Tadworth, helping them make the best recovery possible after a serious accident or illness. TCT also supports children and families in their own communities, through its brain injury specialist service based in the UK's paediatric major trauma centres, its mobile Brain Injury Community Team and its award winning online information service, The Brain Injury Hub. TCT has been in existence since 1983. The Trust employs over 300 full-time staff as well as over 200 part-time staff. The charity has around 500 volunteers and is governed by a board of 17 Trustees.
