Friends of St Barnabas is a faith community group based in the ward of St Barnabas Crewe. The aims of the group is to increase community involvement, and empower people to reach their potential, which sees the community garden within the church grounds and church hall being used on a daily basis.The project supports older people with dementia through the organisation overseeing and commissioning Age Uk Cheshire to deliver weekly structured activities over a 48 week timeframe over a 12 month period broken down into 6 week blocks. The grant pays for sessional costs and publicity costs.
